Meet our Chiropractors

Dr. Magdalena Piznal

Dr. Magdalena Piznal is a wife, a mom to two beautiful kids, a passionate chiropractor and teacher, aiming to educate her patients toward a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Piznal graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007 and opened the doors to DJC Chiropractic in Tecumseh. After two years of practice, Dr. Piznal expanded the clinic to include several practitioners and renamed the clinic to DJC Integrative Therapy. Her vision was to deliver a team approach to healthcare, focusing on every aspect of the patient rather than just symptoms. Dr. Piznal provides a "top-down" analysis treating the whole body, focusing on dysfunction rather than the symptoms. Using effective treatment protocols including spinal manipulative therapy, mobilization, soft tissue and acupuncture makes this approach more effective and longer lasting.
Dr. Piznal is certified in Active Release Therapy (full body), effective in treating sports injuries. She received her medical acupuncture from McMaster University. She is certified in OTZ, specializing in shoulder injuries including frozen shoulder. She recently expanded her treatment protocol to include Dolphin neurostim, a modality highly effective in removal of surgical scar tissue, needle-less acupuncture and concussion recovery protocols.
Recently, Dr. Piznal’s interests turned towards women’s health and nutrition, focusing on hormone health and weight loss. She is now certified from Lorna Vanderhaeghe as a “Women’s Health Expert".

first and second certifications in Fascial Stretch Therapy in 2013. With her fascination in the body’s
natural ability to heal she continued her education to become a registered massage therapist in 2017.

body, locate the associated areas of trauma and assist the tissue back to a natural state of release. She
uses various fascial and mobilization techniques that are less aggressive than traditional modalities,
which leaves the client in a relaxed holistic state yet still providing a long lasting and exceptionally
